About Denise

A graduate of Business Administration - Human Resources (BHR) course from Seneca College, Denise is equipped with over 5 years of knowledge on human resources, customer service and office administration. She completed the YWCA Professional Office Administration Series. She has volunteering experience at University Health Network (UHN) Princess Margaret Cancer Hospital. The telecommunications industry was one of Denise's first jobs being as an outbound sales representative, telemarketer and technical support.She is multi-skilled, organized, teachable and adaptable with excellent communication and presentation skills. Good rapport with customers and colleagues is one of her strong points and she can work well independently or in a team environment. She is well-rounded, being a student leader growing up, which molded her into becoming an effective person through her experiences on different fields. She has a heart for volunteerism and paying forward her diverse experiences and knowledge in order to help and inspire people to live a brighter life. Although she finished a business course, Denise has a background in nursing as she has a passion for healthcare and helping others.In design, Denise believes that "Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication" and it is visible in her works. Though simple, her designs are carefully crafted with love and thoughtfulness but with just the right amount of creativity therefore it is aesthetically pleasing to the human eyes.She finished an online course in Becoming an Entrepreneur by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her learnings from business college and the entrepreneurship certification course led her to run two businesses from her creative pursuits most especially in design and social media. Denise is certified in Personal Finance & Life Coaching, a TEFL Educator and a UI/UX Designer. She advocates for Mental Health Awareness, is a Financial Training Associate of World Financial Group - World System Builder and is a sales agent of ATOMY Canada. Recently, she gained a Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design certificate from Google (Coursera) and currently she is doing freelance, running her business DP Designs Co. She is part of the communications and media team for Champion Life Centre Scarborough here in Toronto, Canada.
She is the Human Resources and Policy Administrator of BGC Dovercourt Club in Toronto, Canada.
